​BTNEF recognizes that community development must include economic development. Ensuring that the community of all generations of chattel slavery survivors is a suited place to live, work and play must also value the creation of wealth and independence. The intersection of the two are the focus of BTNEF to support. BTNEF is interested in supporting organizations that empower communities of chattel slavery survivors to build strong infrastructures that will enable them to become resilient.
