Blacktown NE.W.B.I.A. Endowment Fund, Inc. (BTNEF) was created to respond to the urgent call to place community-based organizations on a firmer foundation so that they can establish long-term projects and programs without the constant fear of insufficient funds. Mere existence does not allow for strategic planning. To the contrary, it does keep creativity and innovation at a distance, and the organization suffers along with their intended partners and potential beneficiaries. As a community-based endowment, BTNEF will seek to secure investments from an array of organizations. Its annual fund development initiatives will identify secure funding to address immediate financial needs of recipients and also address long-term projects and programs that will need multi-year funding. Investments made to BTNEF will be received as non-restricted.
