​BTNEF knows that the guiding principles for building a future of high achiever cannot omit the first step in development. If the pipeline to destruction from the cradle to the grave is to be interrupted, there is no better strategy than to begin at the cradle. Too often the time to invest is missed. The leverage to be gained is lost and in many instances may not be recovered. BTNEF will reach organizations that have been in the trenches of developing families and youth for all generations of chattel slavery survivors from instability to stability. Poverty can be reflected in diverse ways. BTNEF will seek to support programs and projects that may use traditional methods to achieve its objects, and it will also support programs and projects using nontraditional methods to reach those not yet served.
